In my wife’s opinion, it would be great if the soundproofing was better. Having a room near the stairwell made it noisy, especially in the morning with all the early checkouts.

The location is fantastic, right across from the boardwalk. The room was clean and equipped with a microwave and a mini fridge, which made our stay comfortable. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, allowing us to check in early and store our bags after checkout so we could enjoy the beach longer.

Perfect location for boardwalk fun

The stay was fantastic, particularly because of the close proximity to the Santa Cruz Boardwalk, making it super easy to go back and forth throughout the day. The room was clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the safety feature of needing a key for entry. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise with plenty of options like scones and hard-boiled eggs. However, it would be great to have more blanket options for added comfort.

The location was unbeatable! Just steps from the boardwalk. The only downside was the noise levels from the hallway, but it didn’t ruin our great time! 😊

I particularly enjoyed the spacious room with its little patio, allowing me to relax and take in the calming sights and sounds of Santa Cruz. The hotel’s cleanliness made me feel safe and comfortable throughout my stay.

More seating in breakfast area would be helpful.

Rooms need deep cleaning!!! The bathroom water had a bad smell and strange black flakes were present!!! The parking lot noise can be quite disruptive at night!!!

Stay here for the unbeatable location right across from the beach and boardwalk! I loved the complimentary breakfast – those giant Fuji apples and waffles were a game changer! Plus, the staff made my family feel so welcomed with their friendly smiles and late checkout accommodations.

This place suits me perfectly! I love the free parking, air conditioning, and flat-screen TV. On my first stay, the staff helped with plug adaptors, which I really appreciated. I recommend this hotel for a great experience!

For Families with Kids, A Good Option

We were across the street from the boardwalk, I mean right there. The staff were super friendly at breakfast and helped me find some toothpaste for my boy, which is not something you expect every day.

It wasn’t exactly cheap but it was still acceptable.

I really appreciated how close this place is to the boardwalk, making it so easy to stroll along the beach, and I enjoyed quick visits to the near restaurants and the Santa Cruz Wharf whenever I wanted a bite to eat or a lovely view of the ocean.

Location is unbeatable, right by the Boardwalk! The staff was really nice and got us in early, which was perfect. Our room was pretty spacious but had some ants from the previous guests' mess. The breakfast was decent too! Just wish there were more outlets since I had a lot to charge.
